CGC Takes Over Leicester; Accepting Submissions at Forbidden Planet and Triple C

Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is thrilled to announce that company representatives will be hosting a takeover event in Leicester in the United Kingdom in June! Submit your comics and cards to CGC at two different shops on June 21-22, 2025, and keep an eye out for our representatives as we tour the city!

CGC representatives will be at several different locations answering questions and providing information on collectibles certification services. The Grading Club — a CGC Authorized Dealer — will be accepting submissions of comics and cards for grading at CGC. Bring your favorite collectibles to the events to take advantage of fast turnaround times and save one way on shipping fees! Also, be sure to stop by for exclusive giveaway swag and exclusive autograph opportunities with comic book artist Des Taylor!

Get your books signed by Des Taylor at Forbidden Planet!

Bring your favorite comic books and cards to the CGC booth at Forbidden Planet for an exclusive signing opportunity with Des Taylor, one of England’s most prominent pop culture artists! Taylor is responsible for creating cover art for DC Bombshells, Dr. Who, Archie comics, Star Trek’s 50th Anniversary Exhibition and more, and he’s created his own comics such as Scarlett Couture, The Vesha Valentine Story and The Trouble with Katie Rogers. In addition to comics, Taylor has also contributed artwork to Universal Music, Michael Jackson, Cosmopolitan and more.

Des Taylor will be signing comics, cards and cover artwork during the event at Forbidden Planet on June 21, 2025. A CGC Signature Series witness will be present at the event, so after getting your collectibles signed, submit it to CGC through The Grading Club for the iconic CGC Signature Series yellow label!

As an Authorized Dealer in the United Kingdom, The Grading Club will be accepting cards and comics at both Forbidden Planet and Triple C. The Grading Club makes grading simple: Just log on to their website, create a free account and submit! The entire process is easy, and each card submitted through The Grading Club is fully insured and can be easily tracked through the website, with no hidden fees.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
